Promontory Insight provides real time event-based video and alarm surveillance that identifies events in real time with automated response dispatch and operational intervention. PI has an intelligent solution to fit across vertical markets including Retail, Commercial, Multi-Family, Industrial, Transportation, Education, Auto-Dealer, HOA, Financial Institutions and others.

Skills:

  • Responsible for managing customer support requests through our ticketing system by generating, delegating and troubleshooting tickets to the proper departments.
  • Configure, deploy and manage network infrastructure appliances to include but not limited to, switches, routers, UBiquity wireless access points for camera Projects (Surveillance Project).
  • Assist in preventive maintenance and upgrades on servers, resolve end user issues, and system backups.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage workstation, laptop hardware and software configurations to include, but not limited to current Windows platforms.
  • Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
  • Provide technical expertise for resolution of technical problems to include software, hardware, network, systems, and application support.
  • Documentation of technical environment and system changes for both internal and client systems.
  • Perform special projects to be determined by the IT staff.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of Windows administration
  • 0-2 years of network administration
  • 0-2 years of VMWARE virtualization
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems and processes to include desktop support, peripheral support, software support/interoperability, Windows-based systems and applications, network protocols, network and systems security, networking and connectivity, telecommunications, storage, and backup, & email services
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar work experience preferred but not required
  • MCP, MCSE or CCNA certifications or related experience preferred but not required
